A Letter From Coach LaHoda

Rattlers Fall CYLA Families,

Thank you all for an incredible fall season. We enjoyed sharing this season with you all, and our coaches had nothing but great things to say about their teams. One of the most rewarding things for us as coaches is seeing the players come together in such a short period of time. Thank you to all of the players for all of the smiles, laughs, and hard work! We are about being a FAMILY, and we feel privileged every day to have such a great group of players and families in the program. Your kids help us become more responsible, accountable, passionate, and joyful in our own lives, and we love that we can lean on the players for inspiration. We hope your players are just as inspired and energized from the season as we are, and learned  lessons/skills about humility, resiliency, integrity, and everything else that goes along with being a good person. Above all of the wins, losses, successes, and failures- this is by far the most important part of youth sports. Thank you for all of your support this season!

I have attached a pdf file from Coach Scarbrough (U15). Coach Scarbrough asked each player on his team to write a letter to a younger player on lessons learned, how to be a great teammate, and why they love lacrosse. I encourage families of younger players to share these letters with their kids, as I believe they have a lot of good insights on how to be a good teammate/person, and for how to navigate the road ahead. Nice job boys!
