Coach Ethan LaHoda


Personal Background
Coach LaHoda was born and raised in Louisville Colorado. He played high school lacrosse at Monarch High School in Louisville, CO and played  college lacrosse at  Colorado State University. Coach LaHoda was a multi sport athlete growing up and  played basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball, wrestling, and football competitively before starting his lacrosse career  in 7th grade.  His passion to grow the game of lacrosse and help players develop into better people on and off the field is a driving force of the Rattlers program. Coach LaHoda introduced the Better Players. Better People. lacrosse curriculum in 2014 and continually strives to find unique and effective ways to give players the tools to succeed  in every aspect of life.

Coach Rich Frey

Coach Frey hails from New York and first picked up a lacrosse stick in 1973.  He was immediately hooked.  Rich was a four year letter winner and two time all county midfielder in high school and went on to play NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Providence College in Rhode Island.   In college Rich was the team offensive MVP as a junior.  In his senior year Rich was voted a team captain and was the overall team MVP.  Rich was an All-New England selection and played in the East-West New England all star game following his senior season.  After college Rich played several years for the Rockland Lacrosse Club in NY which competed in the Central Atlantic Lacrosse League (CALL).   CALL teams consisted of some of the best former college players from the Mid-Atlantic States. Coach Frey has been coaching with the Rattlers since the start of the program four years ago.
